They are a member of the DOG, AAO, ASCRS and ESCRS, and have certifications in LASIK application, presbyopia correction with multifocal intraocular lenses, scleral fixation techniques, corneal collagen cross-linking, femtosecond applications for anterior segment surgery and corneal topography analyzing. They have completed a PhD in Immunomodulatory Therapy of Uveitis and have attended several conferences and meetings, including the 42nd annual meeting of the European Pediatric Ophtalmological Society, World Ophtalmology Congress and Congress of European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
