The first two times there were problems with translators, 2 translators were illiterate and irresponsible. Then they replaced me and gave me a very responsible and decent translator. Please pay attention to the old girl. My translator and I ask you to have a conversation with her! Due to her inattention and irresponsibility, I lost my appointment with the dermatologist and had to wait an additional 1.5 hours. Plus, after that she didn’t translate for me and asked another girl, but she spoke English and was not a native speaker of my language! Please pay attention to this

The dermatologist was professional and took time to explain my symptoms to us and what the treatment would be. The clinic was nice, clean and looked attractive both inside and outside. The medical coordinator was very friendly and helpful and met us immediately as soon as we entered the clinic. Very satisfied with my visit to this clinic, with the coordinators and the doctor :-)

"I felt indifferent to my child
I took advantage of Bookimed services in April 2018. They picked up a clinic for the diagnosis of a child very quickly. Manager Svetlana contacted me a few hours after completing the application and was with me online for the next 3 weeks literally constantly. Including in the evening. For which I am very grateful to her! I felt indifferent to my child.
The clinic of San Juan de Deux in Barcelona is very well equipped and looks like a Hollywood movie. For a relatively small amount of money, we made a complete check-up including extensive blood tests. However, since we did not have a diagnosis, we had to literally ask for medical advice. Therefore, if there is no specific diagnosis, there may be questions in its formulation. You need to understand exactly what kind of doctors you want to go through. All the specialists are very good, adequate and get on well with the children. The service of foreign clients is well organized, everything is convenient and no difficulties have arisen.

Hello! In both clinics in both Antalya and Istanbul (Asel, Nino) there were super coordinators. But, giving a tidy sum, I left with what I arrived. Without an accurate diagnosis and any solution to my problem. The doctor’s appointment $ 120-160, lasts about 5 minutes! And this is at best. Results and recommendations are issued in Turkish, and not in English.

Bookimed stuff is very helpful and quick to response.
Airport transfer: I don't know what really was wrong, but we couldn't find the Medipol representative upon arrival at the airport. So I had to contact the coordinator, and then talk to somebody else, and then again to somebody else until finally the Medipol representative apparently (the guy didn't have any sign of belonging to the medical center: no ID or placard on him) found us after about 1 hr of waiting and calling. And then we had to wait for the car to arrive. So I guess informing the patients about meeting places/transfer times/contact details at the airport would be a good idea.
Overall we had a good impression of Medipol. As for the medical stuff, the doctor seemed experienced and professional. He didn't ask us to do any unnesessary tests, but only those that really were relevant and required. I'm currently following the treatment scheme, so the time will show...
The translator, Babadjan, is very responsible and reliable, helpful and organised. I'm really happy that we had him to accompany us.
The hotel, Rotana, was very nice and clean, the stuff was friendly and helpful, they really care about their guests. Great breakfast.

I had initially gone to Turkey to consult with a dental clinic there. The initial clinic consultation went a direction that didn't want to go to meet my needs. Bookimed was able to quickly arrange more consultations with other clinics and Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital. I really liked the dental staff and the vision/action plan proposed by Bahcelievler. I quickly decided that they were the best option of all my consultations there in-country. Due to the severity of my dental needs, the Chief of Dentistry (Dr. Esma Sonmez) personally took my case. Her and her team were fantastic. She highly recommended the oral surgeon, part of the hospital, Dr. Celal Gondirll. I highly recommend both of them. Mr. Gondirll communicated clearly the game plan, successfully followed through with a well-performed surgery, and was available for after-care. I needed 24 crowns, with temporaries installed prior to the jaw surgery, and permanents installed post-surgery. Dr Sonmez performed all the crowns herself. In all, everything went very well. My hospital medical coordinators, Ms. Rose and Mr. Masoud, did a great job of coordinating the activities, hospital stay, hotel stay, and shuttle services. It has only been about a week and a half post-surgery, but I am very pleased with the results. I'm sure things will only improve more as the swelling subsides in the coming weeks. None of it would have been possible without my Bookimed coordinator, Winnington, quickly pivoting after my initial consultation going south and arranging the consultation with the hospital. An additional point to mention is that Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital was able to perform all the needed services at a significantly cheaper price. Dr. Sonmez is also very conservative in her approach to dental care and was able to successfully avoid 12 root canals that my initial dental clinic consultations had deemed "required." I would strongly suggest adding a consultation with the hospital prior to finalizing any action plan. Thank you!

I landed on Bookimed while searching for further treatment.. One Dr.Hilal got in touch with me and guided me through the different options available to us. We eventually settled on Florence nightingale hospital and immediately got in touch with Alişer, who walked with us through our preparation and arrival in Turkey as well as the hospital visits. He was kind enough to guide us on what was expected and was always available even at odd hours . The doctors at the Hosp led by Prof Elle and Prof Yusef, treated us with utmost professionalism. They calmly guided us through the process and made us understand what we are dealing with. They were not quick to rush into any interventions.. we felt very safe in their hands. Ice was one of the nurses who collected me from the airport. She was so kind for waiting nearly two hours for me due to a delay I had. She helped me so much after my surgery too. Another nurse Marge was wonderful. She helped with translation and my aftercare, she was so gentle when helping take out my stitches. I thank all of the nursing staff, they were all wonderful in their own way and treated me very well. I wish I could have spoken with the doctor more, he always seemed in a rush, I know he is a very busy man but if he could slow down just a bit it would help the patient care factor improve. But overall I'm really happy with my experience with the ID Clinic team ☺️ I only took two pictures of the inside of my overnight room, the clinic was very clean and comfortable and beautiful 🙏

I'm 32 years. Left-sided coxarthrosis. I was looking for options for superficial endoprosthetics. I turned to bookimed and I was offered a clinic in Austria. The operation was estimated at about 30-32 thousand euros, but since the technique is innovative (ceramic surface prosthesis for young patients), I agreed. Before that, I several times discussed what kind of operation we are talking about with the contact person from bookimed (Roman) and the doctor. Upon arrival in Austria, Roman met me. A very pleasant and caring person, I am very grateful to him for his help and a warm welcome. The next day after arriving in the morning, I ended up in the clinic. I went through all the necessary tests, and they brought me 2 contracts for signing, 1 from an anesthesiologist, the second for prosthetics. I noticed that the contract for Hip Replacement (replacement of the hip joint), and I was going to the Hip Resurfacing procedure and I had doubts. Two nurses forced me to sign a contract, but without communicating with the doctor, I refused. As a result, it turned out that he did not do such a procedure (Hip Resurfacing) and began to move out, that he did not understand me. In fact, he was given all the information about the procedure that I wanted to do, the doctor apparently thought he could do it. In fact, I spent 2 days of which 11 hours spent on the road. A bunch of stress and pain nerves in the leg. From here I learned several lessons: 1. Read the contracts that are slipped to you for signature. 2. Discuss all the details several times before the trip. 3. In Europe, people are deceived in the same way as elsewhere

the trip to the clinic was usually. I got advice, paid a doctor, translator and intermediary, did not receive receipts for these payments. But I don’t understand what the bonus actually consisted of, which I ordered through Bookimed and how to really get it. After this trip, I again received a letter about the bonus, but, in my opinion, these letters really do not cost anything.
