Professional Experience

One of my most significant experiences was working in the psychiatric department of the Military Medical Academy, where I worked with clients dealing with various forms of trauma, especially from military service in conflict zones. During my time there, I worked both individually and in groups with traumatized soldiers and civilian patients who had experienced psychiatric disorders resulting from severe experiences.

I was responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and emotional instability. Nihal Özaras graduated from IU Cerrahpaşa English Faculty of Medicine in 1998 and completed her specialty training at Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital (now Bezmialem University).
