He is also a board member of the Austrian Society of Pediatric Surgery and uses modern, gentle treatments and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Professor Robert Schmidhammer is a specialist in peripheral nerve surgery, brachial plexus, reconstructive surgery after injuries and hand surgery. He has a Doctoral Specialization in Human Genetics and has trained in general practice, traumatology, anesthesiology, intensive care medicine, counter-subject surgery, sports healthcare, and hand surgery and microsurgery.
