Dr. Uygur is an international urologist with a Medical Graduate and M.D. Degree from Hacettepe University Medical School, a research fellowship from the Transplantation Laboratory of Helsinki University, and residency in Urology from Hacettepe University Medical School. He has over 300 international and national publications and presentations, with 781 scientific citations to 41 articles. He is a full member of the European Association of Urology, a corresponding member of the American Urological Association, a member of the Society of Urologic Oncology, and a board member of the Turkish Society of Urologic Oncology. He has completed robotic urologic surgery courses at Vanderbilt University Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic, and the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is the Professor of Urology and Chair at the Near East University Medical School, the Chief of Urology at the Anadolu Medical Center in Affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine, and the Director of Urooncology and Urologic Robotic Surgery Programmes at the Anadolu Medical Center. As a urology specialist providing medical services, Prof. Dr. Hasan Biri graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. He started his residency in urology at Gazi University Hospital in 1987 and completed his specialization in 1992, becoming a urology specialist.
