Dr. Martin Claßen is a highly experienced pediatric gastroenterologist, specializing in functional disorders and inflammatory bowel disease in children and adolescents. He holds a degree in general medicine from the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, a specialty in pediatrics from the University Children's Hospital of Essen and a specialty in gastroenterology in children from the Children’s Hospital at the University Hospital Frankfurt. The clinic has allocated a huge budget for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment in order to offer patients a full range of surgical methods for the treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the oesophagus, lungs, stomach, liver, pancreas and intestines according to current guidelines and using the most modern technical equipment.
Professor Schenker is an active researcher and lecturer. He lectures at medical universities and organises seminars and workshops for colleagues. He cooperates closely with the Cancer Centre, the Pancreatic Cancer Treatment Centre, the Intestinal Cancer Treatment Centre and the Interregional Trauma Centre.
