Dr. Saglam carried out scientific studies in the fields of microsurgery and facial surgery, which he was interested in. In his thesis study on end-to-end nerve repair, he defined a new modification (modified sleeve neurorhaphy). He presented this technique at the National Plastic Surgery Congress.
