After achieving a high degree in the national exam, Dr Hakan Tekin started his medical education at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty / English Department. Dr Tekin worked in the E&A Department and ICU of State Hospital in Van after graduation for two years. He started to work in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department at Van Yuzuncu Yil University. He was trained in many types of surgical procedures, including; microsurgery, maxillofacial surgery, congenital deformities, hand surgeries and aesthetic procedures.
He worked in Van Training and Research Hospital as head of the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Department. In 2016 he started to work at Memorial Private Hospital in Diyarbakır. He was born in Samsun in 1978. After graduating from Faculty of Medicine (Çapa Medicine) of the Istanbul University in 2003, he completed his 6-year residency training at Şişli, Etfal Training and Research Hospital Plastic Surgery Clinic and became a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist.
In 2008, he received training from world-renowned surgeons at the University of Plastic Surgery Clinic in the New York, United States and participated the surgeries together with the doctors from New York.

In addition to his English education at Robert College, he improved himself by taking painting, sculpture and photography lessons. After a rich high school life of 5 years, he studied at Istanbul Medical Faculty, Capa Medicine, and received the title of medical doctor. By making a degree in the specialty examination in medicine, he was entitled to receive specialization training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul Health Sciences University. Starting from his medical school years, he went to many countries and did an internship and increased his professional knowledge.
