In 2012, he achieved a significant milestone by successfully passing the Medical Specialty Exam (TUS) and commencing his specialization in surgery at the Bozyaka General Surgery Department in Izmir. Dr. Aydoğan’s pursuit of excellence took him to Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany in 2015, one of the country’s top institutions, where he worked as a visiting doctor. During this period, his focus was on pancreatic and liver surgery, gaining valuable experience. In 2017, he earned the title of specialist in general surgery through his thesis, which evaluated the demographic characteristics and surgical effectiveness of patients undergoing Sleeve Gastrectomy (gastric sleeve surgery) for obesity. The years 2018 to 2019 saw him fulfill his mandatory service at Ardahan Göle State Hospital, further enhancing his experience and skills. In 2020, Dr. Aydoğan joined the team at Izmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, where he primarily performed cancer surgery, obesity surgery, and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic procedures. In 2022, he reached another milestone in his career by establishing his own private practice. Here, he continues his medical journey, providing care independently and making a positive impact in the field of surgery and healthcare.
Доктор Онур Шахин окончил стоматологический факультет Университета Хаджеттепе в 2011 году и завершил специализированную подготовку на кафедре челюстно-лицевой хирургии Университета Гази в 2016 году. С 2017 года он работает академиком на кафедре челюстно-лицевой хирургии Измирского университета Катип Челеби. В 2021 году ему было присвоено звание доцента. Кроме того, с 2017 года он продолжил обучение в докторантуре на медицинском факультете Университета Эге, на кафедре стволовых клеток. Интересы доктора Онура Шахина включают в себя передовую имплантологию, аугментацию твердых и мягких тканей атрофированных челюстей, лечение all-on-X, скуловые, крыловидные и трансназальные имплантаты, медикаментозный остеонекроз челюсти (MRONJ), а также стволовые клетки и регенеративную терапию. Он был приглашенным докладчиком на многих национальных и международных симпозиумах по имплантологии и челюстно-лицевой хирургии и провел множество практических и кадаверных курсов по имплантологии. Доктор Шахин, который выполнил первый случай с имплантатами скуловой кости, крыловидной кости и трансназальной имплантации в Турции, имеет более 100 пациентов, прошедших лечение с помощью этих имплантатов. Biography
Associate Professor Koray Aykut is currently the cardiovascular surgeon of İzmir University. Previously, he was surgeon at Ege Hospital from 2008 to 2013. His specific teaching and research interests cover adult heart surgery and vascular surgery. He has authored 10 articles that are published in peer-review journals listed by SCI and SCI-e and 8 articles that are published in national journals.
Associate Professor Koray Aykut was graduated from Ege university in 1999 and completed residency of cardiovascular surgery in Dokuz Eylül University in 2005. He was cardiac surgeon in Kars State Hospital from 2005 to 2007 for compulsory service. He has been in Cyprus Army Hospital from 2007 to 2008 for his military service.
