Op. Dr. Ahmet Kurtulmuş graduated from İzmir Private Turkish College in 1986. He completed his medical education at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2000 and 2006, Dr. Ahmet Kurtulmuş operated his own private clinic at the same time, where he managed his patients and performed surgeries at an affiliated private hospital with which he had an agreement.
