He still keeps his academic position in Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology.  

Prof. Dr. Kandemir was the head of the Periodontology Department at Ege University until 2019. He has made significant contributions to dental science, particularly in periodontal disease and implantology over his dynamic career.

Dr. Kandemir holds a Doctorate in Clinical Sciences from Ege University, where he has been a full professor since 1994. He has published 14 research papers and presented at various international conferences, including the İzmir Dişhekimleri Odası and ACBID International Conference.

Worked professionally in Yasam Health Policlinic, Aliaga, Izmir for 3 years and moved to Australia for RMIT University for education. After 3 years, moved back to Aliaga and operated and served my own clinic. In 2015, opened, Nova Oral Health and Dental Clinic in Bostanli, Izmir. Finally, partnered up with Eda Cesit and established My Nova Oral and Dental Health Policlinic. I have a son. Since 2006, I am a member of the Esthetical Dentist Academy and Global Dentistry Academy.

I was born in Fier city of Albania in 1982. I finished primary and secondary education in Albania. I completed my university education in 2006 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in Ankara.
