He started his specialization in the urology clinic of Taksim Training and Research Hospital in 2002. Having completed his specialization training in 2007, Dr. Oğuzhan Parlakkılıç attended many national and international meetings. He has studies in andrology, endourology and urooncology.
Between 2007 and 2009, he completed his duty of public service obligation at Sivelek State Hospital.
Between 2009 and 2010, he worked as a urology specialist in the General Command of Mapping Dispensary.

Since 2018, he has been actively involved in the Endourology working group of the European Association of Urology, Young Academic Urologists (EAU-YAU) Committee for a period of 2 years. In January 2021, he was appointed as a Professor at the Istanbul Medeniyet University Department of Urology.After that started working at Şişli Memorial Hospital in 2022.
