His primary focus is oncological surgery, particularly specializing in "The surgical treatment of locally advanced tumors and multi-organ resections." He has enriched his expertise by visiting prominent reference centers in the United States, including the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, New York City. There, he delved into minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and microsurgical techniques under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as John Daly, Michele Gagner, and Murray Brennan. Additionally, in 2005, he further expanded his skills at the City of Hope Oncology Center in Los Angeles, focusing on robotic surgery in oncology.

He has contributed to the education of many medical students, pediatric residents and subspecialty residents within Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. He trained 8 pediatric infectious diseases subspecialists between 2018 and 2023 as the Head of the Department. Tuberculosis disease, HIV infection, prevention and treatment of infections in children with immune defects, healthcare-associated infections, vaccine-preventable diseases in children, Covid-19 Pandemic management.He has participated as a member of many commissions, as a researcher in projects and as an author in consensus guidelines and has provided patient care services on these issues in the clinics where he works.In our country, he prepares 'Rational Antibiotic Use' training materials and provides training to family physicians and pediatricians on this subject.
He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003, completed his specialization in Pediatrics at Ankara Dr. Sami Ulus Children's Hospital in 2009, and completed his subspecialization in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases in 2013.
