Dr. Haluk Onat is a respected medical oncologist. He earned his medical degree in 1976, completed his Internal Medicine training in 1981, and specialized in Medical Oncology in 1987. He became a Professor of Internal Medicine in 1993. Dr. Onat has worked at Istanbul University Oncology Institute, Anadolu Medical Center, and Istanbul Oncology Hospital.
He is a founding member of the Turkish Oncology Foundation and the Medical Oncology Association. Dr. Onat is also an active member of ESMO, ASCO, and EACR. He has contributed to international research groups such as EORTC and CECOG. Dr. Onat has published many scientific articles and has helped improve cancer treatment in Turkey and abroad.

He was also Professor and Director at Anadolu Medical Center between 2004 and 2017. Since 2017, he has led the Oncological Sciences departments at Ceylan International and Medicana Bursa Hospitals. Dr. Engin is known for his work in improving cancer treatment and medical education standards in Turkey.
