He completed his medical degree at the University of Vienna in 1986 and has since achieved numerous postgraduate qualifications, including Diplomas for Clinical Examination, Manual Medicine, and Clinical Monitoring, and a University Degree for Medical Leadership. He has held fellowships at many prestigious institutions, and has held numerous positions in the Austrian Spine Society since 2002.
