Dr. Mahmut Muhsin YILMAZ was born in Adana. He graduated from TOBB Osmaniye Science High School in 2007 as the top student of his class. During high school, he won numerous awards in regional and national knowledge competitions. In the 2007 Student Selection and Placement Examination (SSPE), he ranked first in Turkey in the fields of Mathematics, Verbal, and Equal Weight. From 2007 to 2014, he studied medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (in English).
In 2015, he ranked 6th in Turkey in the Clinical and Basic Success Rankings of the Medical Specialty Exam. From 2015 to 2020, he successfully completed his specialization training at Hacettepe University Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic.
He conducted his specialization thesis on 'Nerve Regeneration,' which was supported under the TUBITAK 1001 program. His specialization thesis won an award at the 2021 National Plastic Surgery Congress. He obtained his Board Certification in 2019. Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990.
