These include the European Association of Urology (EAU), American Urological Association (AUA), American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO), Ukrainian Society of Urological Oncology (USAO), and the International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, and Oncologists (IASGO).

Dr. Haluk Onat is a respected medical oncologist. He earned his medical degree in 1976, completed his Internal Medicine training in 1981, and specialized in Medical Oncology in 1987. He became a Professor of Internal Medicine in 1993. Dr. Onat has worked at Istanbul University Oncology Institute, Anadolu Medical Center, and Istanbul Oncology Hospital.

He is a founding member of the Turkish Oncology Foundation and the Medical Oncology Association. Dr. Onat is also an active member of ESMO, ASCO, and EACR. He has contributed to international research groups such as EORTC and CECOG. Dr. Onat has published many scientific articles and has helped improve cancer treatment in Turkey and abroad.
