Dr. Yaqub Aliyev is an experienced Surgeon-Proctologist. He earned his medical degree from Azerbaijan State Medical University (1981-1987). He completed his internship at the Scientific Research Institute named after Topchubashov. In 1990, he received advanced training in proctology at the Proctology Institute named after Fyodorov in Moscow.

Dr. Aliyev worked as a General Surgeon at City Hospital No. 6 from 1988 to 1990. He then served as a Surgeon-Proctologist at the Republican Clinical Hospital for over thirty years (1990-2024). Since March 2024, he has been practicing at Premium Clinic. He brings many years of clinical experience to his patients.
