At the beginning of her career, Dina Ben-Yehuda entered the Faculty of Medicine at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

After three years of postgraduate study at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, Dina Ben-Yehuda returned to Hadassah in 1992.

In April 2000, the professor was appointed director of the hematology department.

In 2017, Professor Ben-Yehuda became the 23rd Dean of Hadassah School of Medicine and the first woman to head the medical faculty, which has a history of more than 70 years.

Professor Dina Ben-Yehuda became the first female soldier to receive the Chief of Staff Award for her initiative in collecting information on those killed or missing in action during combat.

Dina Ben-Yehuda was recently awarded the Danielle Sonnenfeld Foundation's Healing with the Heart Award. The honorary award is given to doctors and nurses who go beyond their profession and do more for their patients than is dictated by medical ethics.

Prof. Dr. Serdar Bedii Omay graduated from Hacettepe Medical School in 1985 and later specialized in Internal Medicine and Hematology. He has published 65 scientific articles, 112 meeting papers, and 34 conference presentations in the field of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation. He has also worked as a Hematology Specialist and Molecular Hematology Doctor at Japan Mie Medical Faculty in 1995.

Prof. Baytan is a doctor who graduated from Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1992 and became a Specialist in Medicine at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Diseases. He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancers, leukemia, anemia, and other diseases. He has 15 articles published in international refereed journals, 9 full texts presented and published in international scientific meetings, 3 books/book chapters written, and 8 articles published in local refereed journals.

Prof. Songul Serefhanoglu is a Hematologist at ISU Medical Park since 2019, and has been the Director and President of Adult Hematology Department of Sisli Memorial Hospital, Istanbul since 2019. Dr. Uygur is an international urologist with a Medical Graduate and M.D. Degree from Hacettepe University Medical School, a research fellowship from the Transplantation Laboratory of Helsinki University, and residency in Urology from Hacettepe University Medical School. Ayhan Ozcan, M.D., is a professor of pathology and worked as a faculty member in the Department of Pathology at Gülhane Military Medical Academy, School of Medicine, Ankara (2001-2016) and Yeni Yüzyil University, School of Medicine, Istanbul (2016-2018) in Turkey.

He was appointed to assistant professor in 2001, associate professor in 2006, and professor in 2015 in the Department of Pathology at Gülhane Military Medical Academy, School of Medicine, Ankara. 

He specializes in kidney pathology (medical and non-medical). He also served as director of electron microscopy in the Department of Pathology at Gülhane Military Medical Academy, School of Medicine, Ankara. 

He graduated from GMMA in 1991 at, where he stayed for pathology residency training for three years. His interests include nephropathology, genitourinary pathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, placental pathology, immunofluorescence, and electron microscopy.

He joined as a visiting professor in the Renal Pathology Division, Department of Pathology, Methodist Hospital in Texas for 1 year (2005-2006). After five years, he worked as a visiting scholar (about nephropathology and genitourinary pathology) in the Department of Pathology, School of Medicine, Indiana University for 4 months in 2010. He worked as a visiting scholar in the Renal and Transplant Pathology Laboratory and also as a researcher in Renal Research Laboratory, Department of Pathology, College of Medicine, Ohio State University for 8 months in 2011. 

He active scholarly endeavors include section editor and peer-reviewer for scientific journals, and lecturer in national scientific meetings. His H-index is 24.
