Prof. Baris Akin is a highly esteemed professor of surgery based in Istanbul, Turkey, with a specialization in kidney and pancreas transplantation. He received the 'Young Investigator Award' at the American Transplant Meeting in 2004 and has successfully conducted over 1200 kidney transplantations in Turkey. Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983.
