I have been working as an active dentist since 1993, 1 year in Ankara, 5 years in Kayseri and the remaining 24 years in Istanbul.

Although the last 6 years have been mostly in managerial processes, I am especially pleased to work with our anxious patients and get them accustomed to dental treatments. Considering this ability, I turned to hypnotherapy a few years ago. I continue on my way by improving myself in outpatient clinic management processes and hypnotherapy.

Dr. Damyan Karadzhov, a distinguished alumnus of MU-Varna, holds a Master’s degree in Dentistry and excels in prosthetic and aesthetic dentistry. His commitment to advancing his expertise is demonstrated through his completion of rigorous courses led by globally recognized figures. In 2021, he refined his skills under Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli, DDS, PhD, focusing on mucogingival aesthetic surgery, a soft tissue approach to periodontal regeneration, and innovative solutions for soft tissue dehiscence surrounding implants.

In 2020, Dr. Karadzhov pursued specialized training in “Aesthetic Rehabilitation with Ceramic Veneers” under the tutelage of Dr. Mauro Fradeani and Dr. Leonardo Baccherini, gaining in-depth knowledge of aesthetic principles and minimally invasive techniques. Additionally, his pursuit of excellence continued in 2019 with a course in Endodontics from Prof. Gianluca Plotino, PhD, where he concentrated on cutting-edge practices in root canal machining, 3D obturation, and the restoration of extensively decayed teeth.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Karadzhov boasts a rich personal history and diverse interests. He completed his secondary education in Canada and is fluent in both French and English. His passion extends into the realms of Virtual Reality, exploring its potential in dentistry and education. Dr. Karadzhov is also actively involved in projects at the intersection of Fintech and Cryptocurrency technologies, applying innovative solutions to enhance dental practice efficiency. A seasoned tennis player, he has dedicated over a decade to training in the sport.

I was born in 1985 in Konya, a city renowned for Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi. I completed my secondary education at Meram Anatolian High School in 2003, after which I began my studies at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry. Following a five-year undergraduate program, I pursued a specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same faculty, undertaking an additional five years of focused training. During the last two years of my specialization, I completed rotations in General Surgery, Otolaryngology, and Anesthesia. Throughout this period, I conducted extensive work in immediate implantology, and my PhD research focused on immediate and short implants.

Following this period, I established Milim Dental Hospital, where I currently lead a dedicated team of 30 professionals, including 9 doctors. Milim Dental Hospital holds the distinction of being Turkey’s first Ministry of Health-approved and internationally accredited health tourism organization. Our institution specializes extensively in procedures such as All-on-4, All-on-6, and zygomatic implants, as well as Hollywood Smile transformations. We maintain an active presence on social media, utilizing platforms like Instagram and TikTok to connect with and inform our audience. My frequent travels abroad and my connections with expatriates have greatly influenced my approach to providing culturally sensitive care. Additionally, my daughter was born in the United States, which further strengthens my global perspective and ease in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

I am married to Dr. Begüm Ulaşan, an orthodontist, and we have a young daughter. Additionally, I am a passionate collector of both books and automobiles, pursuits that complement my professional and personal life.
