Prof. Dr. Erdem Akbal was born in 1978 in Kırıkkale. In 2015, he received training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Advanced Endoscopy Unit, focusing on Endoscopic Ultrasonography and advanced endoscopic procedures. In 2017, he trained at the Amsterdam Academic Medical Center in techniques such as endoscopic submucosal dissection, endoscopic mucosal resection, diffuse esophageal spasm, and endoscopic full-thickness resection for treating early-stage gastrointestinal system tumors. He also received training in high-resolution manometry and POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy) for diagnosing esophageal diseases like achalasia. Dr. Ayman is a Medical Doctor and Surgeon specializing in General and Bariatric Surgery, with extensive training and experience in minimally invasive surgery and obesity management.

Doctor earned his Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 2005. He then completed his specialization in General Surgery at the same university in 2016, with a thesis titled "Fast track in minimally invasive colon surgery. Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. After specializing in general surgery, He held key positions as head of general surgery departments and chief physician in several prominent military hospitals, including Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara, and Manisa.

Mr. Mohamed Aly MBBCh MPhil FRCS is a consultant general surgeon with a specialist interest in upper gastrointestinal (GI) surgery and minimally invasive (keyhole) procedures. He is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Brunel University London. His research interests include patient perspectives on surgical outcomes, health tourism, and advancing surgical safety standards. Mr. Aly has a busy general surgery practice that includes both elective surgeries, such as hernia repairs, gallbladder surgery, and upper GI endoscopy. His emergency surgery work includes appendicitis, bowel obstructions, obstructed hernias and other acute abdominal conditions.Mr. Aly trained extensively in prestigious institutions across the UK, including the University of Cambridge, and he completed advanced training at Luton and Dunstable Hospital, one of the UK’s highest volume complex Upper GI centres.In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Aly is actively involved in surgical research. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Antakya’da tamamladıktan sonra 1997 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ne kabul edilerek Tıp eğitimine başladı. 2003 yılında Tıp fakültesinden mezun olduğu sene tıpta uzmanlık sınavını kazanarak Haydarpaşa Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde Genel Cerrahi asistanlığına başladı.

2008-2009 yıllarında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin Houston kentinde MD Anderson kanser merkezi’nde ve Memorial Herrman hastanelerinde kanser cerrahisi ve organ nakli konularında eğitim aldı. Türkiye’ye döndükten sonra 2009 yılında yapılan genel cerrahların katıldığı yan dal sınavında Türkiye birincisi oldu. Bu sınav başarısının peşinden 2009-2012 yılları arasında Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hastanesi’nde Gastroenteroloji Cerrahisi (sindirim sistemi cerrahisi) eğitimi aldı.

2012 yılında Türkiye’nin en genç Gastroenteroloji Cerrahı oldu ve Marmara Üniversitesi Pendik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesine atandı. 2012 – 2018 yılları arasında, Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerine ve genel cerrahi asistanlarına birçok ders verdi, hastalara yönelik ve cerrahlara yönelik birçok eğitim faaliyetinde rol aldı. İleri laparoskopik cerrahi, Obezite ve Metabolik cerrahi alanında çalıştı, ayrıca organ nakli ve İnflamatuar barsak hastalıkları cerrahisi ünitelerinin kurulmasında aktif olarak rol aldı. 2017 mart ayında yapılan sınavla Doçent ünvanınına layık görüldü.
