Prof. Dr. Halil Ibrahim Bekler was born in Istanbul in 1960. He completed his primary school education in Istanbul. He finished High School in Saint-Joseph in 1979. In 1985 he graduated from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. In the same year, he started to work as a resident doctor at Tokat Akbelen Health Center. Between 1987 and 1991, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at SiSli Etfal Hospital. Between 1993 and 1994, he worked as an assistant professor at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in Diyarbakır, Turkey. Later, he worked as the Head of the Orthopedic and Traumatology Surgery Department at American Hospital. In 1999, he studied microsurgery at Cleveland Medical Center.

Between 2006-2007, he worked as a Hand and Microsurgery Specialist at Columbia University School of Medicine. In 2008, he became an associate professor of orthopedics at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2009 and 2015, he worked as Chief of Orthopedics at Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Hospital and he trained many Assistant Specialists. He became Professor in 2016.

He performs orthopedic microsurgery procedures at Avicenna Atasehir Hospital and offers effective treatments for knee and hip prostheses in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology.

Op. Dr. Ahmet Kurtulmuş graduated from İzmir Private Turkish College in 1986. He completed his medical education at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. They have also had full-time experience in the Orthopedic department of the University Hospital Brno since 1988 and have held research activities in the solution of cartilage defects of supporting joints. Furthermore, they have been involved in educational activities and are members of several professional and scientific organizations. Their specialization is in sports medicine, sports traumatology, and endoprosthetics in all localizations. They have also authored and co-authored 91 lectures and 38 publications.

The Hand Surgery service of HM Montepríncipe University Hospital is led by Dr. Pedro J. Delgado and further supported by Dr. Fernando Polo and Dr. Belén García Medrano, who both have extensive experience in hand surgery.
