After achieving a high degree in the national exam, Dr Hakan Tekin started his medical education at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty / English Department. Dr Tekin worked in the E&A Department and ICU of State Hospital in Van after graduation for two years. He started to work in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department at Van Yuzuncu Yil University. He participated in many surgeries as an observer at the Cleveland Clinic, which was chosen as the second best hospital in the USA. In 2019, he worked as a fellow with world-renowned plastic surgeon Prof.Dr.Moustapha Hamdi in breast aesthetics and reconstruction in Brussels for 3 months. After successfully completing the course organized by the Reconstructive Microsurgery Association, he was awarded a microsurgery certificate. At the end of 2019, he completed his residency and became a specialist. His thesis in the experimental field was published as an academic article in the world's best plastic surgery journal, PRS Journal. In addition, he has many academic articles.
