Dr. Ramazan Gökhan Atış, born in Istanbul in 1978, graduated from Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School in 1996. He completed his medical education at Çapa Faculty of Medicine in 2002. Between 2002 and 2008, he received his specialization training at the Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital Department of Urology, and obtained the title of Urology Specialist in February 2008. After working at Edremit Military Hospital between 2008 and 2009, he started working as a Urology specialist at Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2009. In 2011, he underwent a 3-month Laparoscopy-Robotic Urology training at Heidelberg University Heillbronn Clinic. On his return from London, he organized and directed the Arrhythmia Unit of the Cardiology Service of the University Hospital Nuestra Señora del Pino in Las Palmas until 2000.

He later became Deputy Director of the Arrhythmia Department and Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at the Jimenez Diaz Foundation in Madrid.

Dr. Séverine Iborra is the Chief Physician of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Städtisches Klinikum Solingen. Her responsibilities include obstetrics, the delivery room, the neonatal unit, and gynecology. The department also includes the Senology/Breast Clinic at the Bergisches Breast Center Solingen, led by Dr. Manuela Seifert.

Dr. Séverine Iborra is originally from France. She began her medical studies at the University of Lyon and later transferred to Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, where she received her medical license in 2007. She earned her doctorate in 2008 for experimental research in molecular oncology. From August 2008 to November 2013, Dr. Iborra worked as a resident at the University Women’s Clinic in Freiburg. Thanks to the professor and his team, the department has been modernised by introducing modern surgical methods of treatment and especially improved methods of post-operative recovery. The Department of Surgery at the Solingen Clinic is now further expanding its focus on minimally invasive surgery in the direction of robotics. The clinic has allocated a huge budget for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment in order to offer patients a full range of surgical methods for the treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the oesophagus, lungs, stomach, liver, pancreas and intestines according to current guidelines and using the most modern technical equipment.

Professor Schenker is an active researcher and lecturer. He lectures at medical universities and organises seminars and workshops for colleagues. He cooperates closely with the Cancer Centre, the Pancreatic Cancer Treatment Centre, the Intestinal Cancer Treatment Centre and the Interregional Trauma Centre.
