Born in Istanbul in 1985, Remzi Kıyak is originally from Adıyaman. After completing his primary

and secondary education in Istanbul, he completed his university education at Diyarbakır Dicle

He successfully graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1997. Then he did his doctorate in prosthodontics at Marmara University and received his Phd (Doctor of Philosophy  title in 2004.  He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of prosthodontics at Marmara University in 2005-2016. He worked as an associate professor from 2016 to 2021. then he worked as a professor at Istanbul Health and Technology University. His professorial  field is Prosthodontics.

In addition to these, he has  administrative positions at the university. He was the chairman of the ethics committee of Istanbul Health and Technology University Faculty of Dentistry in 2023 as the last administrative position.
