Dr. Ramazan Gökhan Atış, born in Istanbul in 1978, graduated from Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School in 1996. He completed his medical education at Çapa Faculty of Medicine in 2002. Between 2002 and 2008, he received his specialization training at the Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital Department of Urology, and obtained the title of Urology Specialist in February 2008. After working at Edremit Military Hospital between 2008 and 2009, he started working as a Urology specialist at Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2009. In 2011, he underwent a 3-month Laparoscopy-Robotic Urology training at Heidelberg University Heillbronn Clinic. Between 2009 and 2014, he conducted numerous scientific research studies, especially in the field of endourology, and obtained the title of Associate Professor in September 2014. In 2017, he was elected as a board member of the Endourology Society and has been serving in this position since then. Dr. Séverine Iborra is the Chief Physician of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Städtisches Klinikum Solingen. Her responsibilities include obstetrics, the delivery room, the neonatal unit, and gynecology. The department also includes the Senology/Breast Clinic at the Bergisches Breast Center Solingen, led by Dr. Manuela Seifert.

Dr. Séverine Iborra is originally from France. She began her medical studies at the University of Lyon and later transferred to Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, where she received her medical license in 2007. She earned her doctorate in 2008 for experimental research in molecular oncology. From August 2008 to November 2013, Dr. Iborra worked as a resident at the University Women’s Clinic in Freiburg. After passing her specialist exams in gynecology and obstetrics, she continued her career as a specialist at the same clinic. In November 2015, she moved to RWTH University Hospital Aachen as a senior physician.

At the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. E. Stickeler, Dr. Iborra led the obstetrics department from 2017 to 2019. Since December 2017, she was responsible for organizing education in the department, and in October 2019, she became the Managing Senior Physician and Personnel Senior Physician of the clinic, a position she held until she moved to Solingen.

In addition to her scientific work, with numerous publications and presentations at major gynecological conferences, Dr. Iborra deepened her medical specialties. She obtained certifications in oncological diagnostics and therapy from the Gynecological Oncology Working Group, as well as additional qualifications in Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (AGCPC), Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery (AGUP), and the Professional Association of Gynecologists (BVF).

He graduated in Medicine at the Malaga University and specialised in Urology at the Carlos Haya Hospital in the same province.

He travelled to the United States in 2012 for a study stay at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. Specifically, at the Oncology Unit leaded by Dr Karim Touijer.

Years later, he consolidated his training with specialist courses in lower urinary tract surgery, advanced renal surgery, urinary incontinence and pelvic floor surgery, male urology surgery at the Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia and a Master in the Update of Urologic Surgery at the Cardenal Herrera University.

The Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital Urology Unit deals with the study, diagnosis and treatment of the conditions affecting the urinary sy, the suprarenal glands and the retroperitoneum of both male and female patients, as well as the male ctive sy.

The team of experts and the nursing team in this Unit have vast expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of the various pathologies treated by this speciality.

We cover all the medical, preventative and surgical aspects in order to offer early detection, an adequate diagnosis and an accurate treatment. Our main objective is to offer the highest quality in humane treatment and scientific knowledge with a clear and decisive vocation of patient service.

The Urology Unit performs its activities at the A&E Unit (helping with any urologic emergency 24 hours a day and 365 days a year) and at the Outpatient Consultations Unit (helping patients with an appointment from Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon)

An expert in the comprehensive care of women, she specialised in medical care projects focusing on the Humanised Childbirth Program and the development and promotion of low-intervention obstetric care.

She is currently the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit of the Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital. She has promoted the implementation of a specific protocol for Humanised C-section in this hospital to ensure the active participation of women in the arrival of their babies and a childbirth plan that is similar to natural childbirth.

Dr Blanco Herráez has also promoted the implementation of the current Multidisciplinary Breast Unit, the objective of which is the management of breast cancer, both from the preventative and the early detection points of view, as well as the diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and functional and psychological recovery of patients.

The primary objective of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit of the Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital is to provide a high-quality comprehensive care service to women and their health issues at any of their life stages. Specially, issues deriving from pregnancy, childbirth and the post childbirth stage, as well as any matters relating to the female organs and ctive functions.

A highly-qualified multidisciplinary team that positions each patient at the core in order to ensure the provision of a professional and personalised service adapted to the health needs and expectations of women. Besides, an early diagnosis and treatment customised to each personal circumstance, the promotion of health and the prevention of disease are at the core of the work of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit.

Efficiency, innovation, the use of new technologies and digitalisation are differential factors of the care service provided by the over 30 health professionals (doctors, nurses, assistant nurses and midwives) who make up the team of this speciality.
