Dr. Xavier Ruyra Baliarda is a leading cardiac surgeon with more than 35 years of experience. He specializes in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, including cardiac transplantation. He is known worldwide for his skills in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, heart valve replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting, open heart surgery, and aortic aneurysm repair.

Dr. Ruyra is a recognized expert in the Ross procedure. He holds several patents for new techniques in valve repair and reconstruction.
