Surgical technique aimed at increasing motor strength in patients with weakness in the arms and legs due to spinal cord injury. Paraplegic and quadriplegic patients may benefit from this technique.

By placing electrodes above and below the lesion in the spinal cord and applying high-frequency currents, a magnetic field is created in the lesion area. This can lead to an increase in the patient's motor power. Following this surgical procedure, it is recommended that the patient undergo intensive physical therapy exercises.
