Dr. Jacek Laskowski is an orthopedic and hip replacement surgeon at Carolina Medical Center in Gdansk and Warsaw, Poland.

He focuses on complex hip surgeries. He was the first surgeon in Poland to perform hip resurfacing with the BHR method. Since 2003, he has completed over 900 of these procedures.

Dr. Laskowski has trained in Belgium and the USA. He has published many research articles. He also works with mathematical modeling for orthopedic procedures and uses custom prostheses designed for each patient.

Standard THR - we use the latest technologies and methods available on the market. We apply Dual Mobility Sy implants (Trinity, Polarcup) as prosthetic head. This sy provides an additional bearing surface compared to a traditional implant and minimizes intraprosthetic dislocation. With the dual mobility hip, a large polyethylene plastic head is fitted inside a polished metal hip socket component, and an additional smaller metal or ceramic head is snap-fit within the polyethylene head. As regards the , we customarily use MiniHip™ which is bone conserving implant. Its shape provides a natural fit inside the femur and a better distribution of the load compared with conventional femoral s. This improves options for patients who may need further treatment in the future. Our largest suppliers (but not the only ones) are Smith & Nephew, Zimmer Biomet, Stryker, DePuy (Johnson & Johnson) and LINK.

I really liked the Clinic. We came from Belarus with a child for a consultation with Dr. Zdanovich. The organization of the trip from the very beginning was under the supervision of Bookimed. The clinic was met by the coordinator Danuta, who helped with the paperwork at the registration desk, accompanied the doctor and helped with translation. Doctor Zdanovich I explained everything in an accessible form on our problem. We were very satisfied. I really liked the work of the Bookimed care department. I was very nervous to have the surgery as I was a stranger to Poland. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and the surgeon, Doctor Babiak was amazing. Not only a terrific surgeon but also very caring and visited me every day after the surgery to help me through the difficult time helping me get back on my feet. Boules for consultation in the Klіnіtsі. Everything went good. On vіzit before Lіkarya got exactly on the appointed time. There were no problems.
