⚠️Available only for residents of the USA! |
Afterpay is a payment service that enables you to lock in your medical procedures now and pay over time. This flexible solution makes healthcare more accessible by spreading the cost of your medical services into manageable payments.
Disclaimer: You must be over 18, a resident of the U.S., and meet additional eligibility criteria to qualify. Late fees may apply. See afterpay.com for complete terms. Loans to California residents are made or arranged pursuant to a California Finance Lenders Law license. |
Are there any eligibility requirements for using Afterpay?
Yes, you must be over 18, a resident of the U.S., and authorized to use a US-issued debit or credit card. Afterpay may conduct a soft credit check that will not impact your credit score.
Please note that the monthly payment plan is not available for patients residing in Nevada, West Virginia, Hawaii, and New Mexico.
Is Afterpay guaranteed to approve my request?
Afterpay does not approve 100% of orders. It uses several factors, including your consumer credit report, to determine eligibility. Afterpay also considers non-traditional factors, like how well you've repaid previous purchases using the Pay in 4 option. Your repayment history helps assess your overall creditworthiness.
Can I use Afterpay for any medical procedure?
Afterpay can be used for the medical procedures offered through participating clinics. Not all clinics may offer Afterpay as a payment option. Please check with your Bookimed medical coordinator, who will assist you in finding a clinic that supports Afterpay and guide you through the whole process.
How does the payment schedule work?
Patients must make their first payment at the time of booking the procedure. The remaining payments will be automatically deducted from their chosen payment method on the agreed dates.
You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make additional payments before the due date if you prefer.
How is the APR interest calculated for monthly payments?
The APR (Annual Percentage Rate) for monthly payments is calculated based on several factors, including your consumer credit report and your repayment history with Afterpay. For patients with a strong credit profile, the APR can be as low as 6.99%.
What if I can’t pay an Afterpay installment?
If you are unable to make your payment when it is due, late fees may apply. Please check www.afterpay.com for complete terms.
